The winter season offers opportunities for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice climbing, and ice fishing. During the remaining months of the year, the wilderness and Lake Superior offer endless opportunities for mountain biking, road biking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and water sports.
